Graffiti Art as Self-Expression

Maybe this is why it seems there’s so many websites devoted to street art these days: “Where once all graffiti was considered vandalism, today most come with the owner’s blessings. Graffiti changes drab, monotone buildings or bare walls to colorful and bold art. The neighborhood becomes an outside museum. When the media picks up on this splendid art other artists flock to thee scene and soon a cultural value of the area has been created.”
